Hyundai will reveal its new EV at the Brussels Motor Show in January 2026. The model will be the brand’s largest electric vehicle to date and will sit at the top of its global EV range. Positioned as a production-ready model for Europe, it signals Hyundai’s move towards larger electric body styles and wider use cases, while also highlighting the company’s ongoing focus on expanding its electric portfolio across key markets. While Hyundai has kept key details under wraps, the new EV is expected to follow the brand’s recent electric design direction seen across its IONIQ range.

Given its positioning above the current flagship, the model is likely to feature a larger body footprint aimed at families and long-distance users. The focus appears to be on space and road presence, aligning with European demand for electric SUVs and MPVs that can handle daily use as well as travel across regions.

One of the key highlights confirmed so far is the use of an 800-volt electrical architecture. This setup should allow faster charging and support sustained performance on longer journeys.

Final technical details remain undisclosed, but the large EV is expected to use Hyundai’s latest electric drivetrain technology tuned for efficiency and range. The 800-volt system suggests compatibility with high-speed DC charging, making it suitable for highway use and long trips across Europe. More clarity on battery options and output figures is expected closer to the official reveal.

For EV followers, the Brussels Motor Show will offer a clear view of Hyundai’s direction for large electric vehicles. With specifications still pending, interest now centres on how this new EV could influence buyer expectations in the large electric segment from 2026 onwards.
