Hyundai Venue Knight Edition Launched at Rs 10 Lakh in India, Gets 3 Variants

The Hyundai Venue Knight Edition has been launched for the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 10 lakh. A 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine option are offered with this model.

Hyundai Motor India Limited has introduced the Venue Knight Edition, a special-edition version of the Venue. The Hyundai Venue Knight Edition is available in 3 variants – S(O), SX, and SX(O). Prices for the SUV start at about Rs 10 lakh (Rs 9,99,990, to be precise) for the S(O) Knight MT version and go up to Rs 13.48 lakh for the top-spec SX(O) Knight DCT Dual Tone. Prices are ex-showroom. The Hyundai Venue Knight Edition gets a host of bits for both interior and exterior, finished in gloss black, making the special edition immediately stand out from other SUVs. Speaking of the individual bits, the front grille gets a black treatment. Apart from that, roof rails, shark-fin antenna, ORVMs, alloy wheels, and the front & rear skid plates have all been finished in Black.

The Knight Edition emblem is also finished in black. Red front brake callipers bring out the car's sporty character, while the front wheels, front & rear bumpers, and roof rails get brass-coloured inserts. At the rear, the special-edition version receives the Hyundai logo in a dark chrome finish. As for the exterior colour options, the Knight Edition is offered in 4 monotone options and a single dual-tone colour option. These include Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, and Fiery Red with Abyss Black.

The Venue Knight Edition receives an all-black interior and exclusive black seat upholstery, both are accompanied by brass-coloured inserts. Other bits include sporty metal pedals, a dashcam with a dual camera, 3D designer mats, and an ECM IRVM (Electro Chromic Inside Rear View Mirror). According to Hyundai, there are 23 unique features on offer with the special-edition model, which has been designed to pivot the aspirations of customers and captivate their interest with its bold design.  

Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Powertrain Details

The Venue Knight Edition is available with a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine. In the lower S(O) and SX variants, the 1.2-litre petrol engine comes mated to a manual gearbox, whereas the higher SX(O) variant comes powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and is paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual as well as a 7-speed DCT unit. 

Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Pricing

The 1.2-litre Kappa petrol versions of the low-spec S(O) and SX variants stand at an introductory price of Rs 10 lakh, and they go up to Rs 11.41 lakh. While the turbo-petrol versions of the top-spec SX (O) variant start at Rs 12.65 lakh and go up to Rs 13.48 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
