Renault is gearing up with yet another offering, possibly a sub-4m SUV called the Bridger. Currently in concept form, the production-spec version will be designed in India and could go on sale by late 2026 or early 2027. That said, Renault has confirmed that it will globally debut its much-awaited Bridger Concept SUV on March 10, 2026. While there is still some time in the official unveiling, early teaser images suggest that the Bridger Concept will sport a rugged, upright stance and a boxy and muscular silhouette. The proportions hint at Renault’s intent to tap into the growing lifestyle SUV space currently occupied by models like the Mahindra Thar and Maruti Suzuki Jimny. At the front, there’s an illuminated ‘Renault’ lettering, while the rear features a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Other key details include a flat bonnetand sturdy roof rails.

Although the cabin has not yet been revealed, the Bridger Concept is likely to follow Renault’s signature cabin design philosophy, with practicality and comfort at the forefront. Buyers can expect smart storage solutions and a carefully laid-out dashboard.

In terms of features, the upcoming Renault’s sub-4m could feature a fully digital instrument cluster, a modern touchscreen infotainment unit supporting wireless connectivity.
Renault has not yet revealed official engine details, but the production-spec Bridger SUV is expected to feature the familiar 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that currently powers the Renault Kiger. Transmission options are likely to include both manual and automatic gearboxes.
