The upcoming premium MPV from the house of Maruti Suzuki has been grabbing the headlines for quite a while. It is slated for a July 5, 2023 launch, as reported earlier. Now, putting the speculations around its naming to rest, the new Maruti Suzuki MPV will be called the Invicto. A product of the collaboration between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, this new MPV will be based on the Toyota Innova Hycross. Since it will be the range-topping model in the carmaker's line-up, we anticipate the MPV to be priced between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be manufactured and supplied by Toyota and will go on sale via Maruti Suzuki's Nexa chain of dealerships.

While the official details of the premium MPV have been kept under wraps, the recently-surfaced spy images give us a glimpse of what to expect. Although the Maruti Suzuki Invicto is based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), it will receive a few styling tweaks. Based on the spy shots, the MPV boasts a Suzuki-specific front profile, including a revamped bumper, a brand-new grille with large air dams, horizontal daytime running lights, and a new set of alloy wheels. With the Suzuki logo located in the centre of the grille, the front-end design is consistent with the signature Maruti DNA.
