Kia has revealed the new Seltos in India, featuring major upgrades both inside and out. Bookings for the compact SUV will open at midnight today (December 11) for a token amount of Rs 25,000, while prices will be announced on January 2, 2026. Deliveries are said to begin in the middle of next month. The new Seltos has four core variants: HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX. For those looking to stand out, Kia is offering an X-Line package exclusively on the GTX variant. While the SUV now sits on the new global K3 platform, its engine lineup remains unchanged. This means all three previous 1.5-litre engine options (naturally aspirated petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel), along with their respective gearbox choices, are still available for buyers to explore. Here’s a closer look at the design, features, and everything else the updated Kia SUV has to offer.

The new-generation Kia Seltos now carries a prominent new face highlighted by the brand’s updated digital interpretation of the tiger-nose motif, complemented by a glossy black grille enhanced with dark metallic accents. The lighting signature has also been modernised, with vertical LED elements and squared-off headlamps positioned at the grille’s edges.

Along the sides, the Seltos gains newly crafted 18-inch alloy wheels, flush-fit door handles, and refreshed body cladding. The rear also looks updated, thanks to redesigned LED taillamps linked by a full-width light bar. Depending on the variant, the SUV rides on 16-inch steel rims or more premium 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Drawing inspiration from Kia’s other models, including the Syros, the updated model offers a well-thought-out layout with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 5.0-inch HVAC display, complemented by intuitive centre-console controls. It also features a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display Panel, a sporty dual-tone steering wheel, adjustable, ventilated front seats with memory and relaxation functions, rear recline seats, a head-up display, drive and traction modes, a Bose 8-speaker sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, and wireless smartphone charging. The SUV also offers advanced features like Smart Key Proximity Unlock, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the Kia Connect 2.0 suite with Over-the-Air updates and connected services.
The Kia Seltos is offered in three main versions: Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line, each with distinct styling and feature differences. The Tech Line serves as the base version and includes six variants: HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTX, and HTX (A). It is followed by the GT Line (available on GTX and GTX (A) variants), which includes all the features of the Tech Line along with additional premium amenities.
