Kia Syros

Kia is set to launch the Syros, a new sub-4-metre SUV in India, marking the first model under its 2.0 strategy for the market. Initially known as 'Clavis,' the Syros draws design inspiration from the brand's flagship EV9 electric SUV and will likely feature a dual-tone interior with a 2-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and dual screens. According to Kia, the Syros will offer an exhilarating driving experience, advanced features, exceptional performance, and top-tier safety. It will be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos in Kia's India lineup. While specific technical details are yet to be officially disclosed, it is expected that the new SUV will offer a diverse range of powertrains. The ICE variant is likely to feature a 1.2-litre and a 1.0-litre petrol engine. The petrol-powered Syros is expected to launch in early 2025, while an electric version will likely be revealed in mid-2025.
