Land Rover India substantially drops prices
Owing to the devaluation of the Pound along with higher volumes being sold in the country, Land Rover has substantially cut prices of its SUVs. Land Rover India has revised prices for its range of models in India resulting in a considerable drop in prices for certain models.

Owing to the devaluation of the Pound along with higher volumes being sold in the country, Land Rover has substantially cut prices of its SUVs.
Land Rover India has revised prices for its range of models in India resulting in a considerable drop in prices for certain models. While prices for the Range Rover Evoque have fallen by Rs. 3.8 lakh, the Land Rover Discovery has become more affordable by Rs. 3.15 lakh. As a result, prices for the locally built Land Rover Discovery Sport now start at Rs. 43.8 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) while locally built versions of the Range Rover Evoque are now available from Rs. 45.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards.
Meanwhile bigger Range Rover models which are fully imported into India as CBUs have gained significantly more from the price cut in comparison to its smaller siblings. Prices for the Range Rover Sport have been slashed by as much as Rs. 30 lakh, which means prices start at Rs. 90 lakh (ex-showroom). And the standard Range Rover in Vogue trim gets a whopping Rs. 50 lakh price cut! Leading to prices for the SUV starting at Rs. 1.6 crore (ex-showroom).
Speaking to company officials we have learnt that the drop in prices come from devaluation of the British Pound along with Land Rover UK revising prices for models being exported to India owing to higher volumes being sold here, leading to economies of scale.
The good news does not end there for prospective customers as Land Rover India is offering a 50 per cent discount on their scheduled maintenance package along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 1.25 lakh.
