Lexus LX Sees Rs 20.80 Lakh Cut After GST; Check Reductions Across Line-up Inside

Lexus India has announced price cuts across the range following the latest update to the country’s GST system. Although exact prices are still under wraps, the company has revealed model-wise reductions, and the Lexus LX 500d has seen the biggest price drop of up to Rs 20.80 lakh. The new prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025, onwards.

The new GST 2.0 has capped the effective tax rate on luxury vehicles at 40%, down from the previous combined GST and cess rate of nearly 50%. The move could benefit the premium Lexus buyers, as rates will now be significantly lower. The price reduction of luxury models will help Lexus attract more buyers, and strengthen its position among key competitors such as Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz.
