Mahindra has launched the first-ever special edition of the BE 6 electric SUV in India, and it's something DC fans will love. Called the Batman Edition, the variant is priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom), and has the dark and edgy styling that brings Gotham vibes to life. It distinguishes itself with a two-tone black finish. The exterior features a stealthy matte black paint, contrasted by glossy black accents on the wheel arches and bumpers. The limited and special edition feel is enhanced with Batman decals on the front doors, as well as a Dark Knight badge on the tailgate. The Batman Edition rolls on 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The golden brake callipers and springs add a striking contrast to the black exterior.
The black interior is accentuated by rich gold highlights on seats and AC vents. Just like the outside, Mahindra has placed Batman logos in multiple areas to make the presence of the Caped Crusader felt.

While the thematic details offer a unique experience, the feature remains the same as the standard BE 6, including dual 12.9-inch screens, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and a dual wireless charging pad.
The Batman Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three Variant of the BE 6. It features a larger 79kWh battery and has an ARAI-claimed range of 682 kilometres. Power will come from a rear-axle electric motor (282bhp/380Nm). As for the charging, buyers can opt for either a 7.2kW or 11kW AC unit, but these are sold as an extra and are not included in the base price.
The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition will have a production run of just 300 units. Bookings will commence on August 23, while deliveries are set to start on September 20, which marks International Batman Day.
