Mahindra has achieved superhero-level success with its recently launched BE 6 Batman Edition in India. All 999 units of the limited edition were sold out within 2 minutes (135 seconds) of bookings opening at 11. am on August 23. For the uninitiated, Mahindra had initially planned to produce only 300 units, but overwhelming demand led them to increase the production run to 999. Now with the model selling out within seconds, it's clear that the collaboration between Mahindra and Warner Bros., is a huge success. Priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the BE 6 Batman Edition brings Gotham to life with its bold, shadowy aesthetic. Deliveries for the SUV are set to begin on September 20, 2025, which also marks International Batman Day.

The exterior stands out with stealthy Satin Black matte paint and eye-catching gold accents on the brake callipers and suspension springs. The exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels and Batman decals on the front doors add to the special and limited vibe.

Inside, the dark theme continues, and the seats are upholstered in black suede and leather with intricate gold sepia stitching and embossed Bat emblems. Each of the 999 units sports a numbered brushed-gold plaque on the centre console.
The BE 6 Batman Edition carries over the same set of features, including a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, dual 12.3-inch screens, dual wireless phone chargers, dual-zone climate control, ventilated, powered front seats, rear AC vents, an AR-based head-up display, and a panoramic glass roof.
For safety, the electric SUV has all-wheel disc brakes, seven airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera, auto park assist, and a Level 2 ADAS.
The Batman Edition, based on the top-spec BE 6 variant, comes exclusively with the larger 79kWh battery pack.

The SUV features a single electric motor powering the rear wheels (RWD), and produces 282bhp and 380Nm. The range (MIDC part 1 + part 2) stands at 682 kilometres.
