Mahindra has launched a special edition model based on the BE 6 electric SUV in India. Christened as the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition, the SUV has been introduced at Mahindra’s Scream Electric event today, with an aim to promote its racing team. Based on the standard BE 6, the special edition gets cosmetic upgrades on the outside as well as the inside. Moreover, Mahindra is also offering some benefits to select customers, including a chance to win tickets for the 2026 London E-Prix.
The Formula E Edition comes with noticeable changes including circular headlamps in the front along with a new bumper. There’s a new bumper at the rear, too, along with a spoiler on the boot lid. The SUV sits on 20-inch wheels, and is available in four colour options — Everest White, Firestorm Orange, Tango Red, and Stealth Black.

The brake callipers have also been finished in a shade of orange. Mahindra has also put decals on various body panels, along with Formula E badges and FIA branding.

On the inside, you get a similar Orange shade on the seats, door trims, steering wheel, centre console, and on other elements.

The Formula E Edition is available in two variants — FE2 and FE3, priced at Rs 23.69 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively. Both variants come with the same 79kWh battery pack as the higher-spec standard car. An electric motor drives the rear wheels, with a claimed power output of 281bhp.
For the first 999 customers, Mahindra is offering a range of benefits such as a track day at Proving Track with racer Kush Maini, Mahindra Racing memorabilia, and a racing number decal on the doors. The carmaker is also offering a chance to get your first name stickered on its Formula E car at the 2026 London E-Prix.
