Mahindra e2o now offered for self drive at Rs 800 a day through Carzonrent

Mahindra Reva and Carzonrent announced a strategic partnership to launch first-of- its kind electric vehicle in the self drive category in India. Carzonrent will offer the Mahindra e20 in major metros like New Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai at a price of Rs. 800 for 24 hours. 

Each city will have a fleet size of five e20’s to begin with and the service will be expanded in all metropolitan cities. The tie-up also enhances the Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure in India with over 100 charge points at prime locations in key cities. Charge points at convenient locations will be availed free of cost by the customers for Carzonrent’s Mahindra e20 Self Drive services. 

Speaking on the association with Carzonrent, Chetan Maini, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. said, “We have observed that a 10 minutes test drive is not sufficient for customers to experience the convenience and benefits of an electric car. Hence this association will allow customers to use the e20 for a few hours or days and get an insight into this new and exciting next generation hassle free mobility solution.”
