Mahindra has responded to the revised GST framework with substantial price cuts across its SUV portfolio in India. The revised prices come into effect from September 6, 2025, and aim to pass on the benefits of the revised tax structure to the prospective customers. The price reductions on Mahindra's SUVs range up to Rs 1.56 lakh, depending on the model. They help in making popular models like the Bolero, Scorpio-N, and Thar more affordable than before. Mahindra has swiftly capitalised on the new 'GST 2.0' tax structure, becoming a major beneficiary in the automotive sector. While other manufacturers will implement the price cuts on or after September 22 (which is the official date for the new tax structure to become effective), Mahindra has decided not to wait, and instead start selling their cars at the new, lower prices from September 6, showing a customer-centric approach.
