Mahindra Vision SXT Concept teaser

It’s no secret that Mahindra is gearing up to unveil four new concept vehicles, Vision T, Vision S, Vision X, and Vision SXT, on August 15. The company has been building the buzz with teaser images, giving us a peek at what’s coming. The latest teaser reveals the rear look of the Vision SXT, adding to earlier glimpses of the front. These hints are slowly shaping a picture of Mahindra’s upcoming SUV and pickup truck range. The new teaser shows that the Vision SXT shares its style with Mahindra’s earlier Scorpio-N-based pickup concept. The image shows a flat-bed and two spare wheels at the back, hinting at a practical design. It clearly looks like something built for those who need a tough and functional truck for work or the outdoors.

Earlier teasers gave us a look at the Vision SXT’s front end. With its raised bonnet, wide wheel arches and rugged cladding, it looks ready to handle rough roads. Mahindra seems to be aiming this pickup at buyers who want a vehicle that can perform on tough terrain without giving up on style or strength.

All four concepts will use Mahindra’s new Freedom_NU platform. This flexible base supports petrol, diesel, electric, and hybrid powertrains. They’ll be built at the Chakan plant near Pune, showing Mahindra’s push towards more local production and cleaner vehicle options for the future.
