Mahindra Vision.S Concept

Mahindra marked Independence Day 2025 by unveiling four innovative SUV concepts: the Vision.S, Vision.X, Vision.T, and Vision.SXT. Built on the versatile NU.IQ platform, these SUVs are designed to meet the growing demand in multiple SUV segments across India and global markets. The Vision.X targets the popular XUV range, while the Vision.S draws inspiration from the iconic Scorpio lineup, signalling a fresh yet familiar design direction for Mahindra.

The Vision.S impresses with its bold, boxy design featuring vertically stacked LED lights, L-shaped headlamps, and Mahindra’s new twin peaks logo. Rugged elements like roof-mounted lights, large bumpers, and protective cladding give it a strong off-road character, balanced by modern touches such as flush door handles and unique alloy wheels. This balance between ruggedness and modernity hints at the future styling cues Mahindra will carry forward for its SUV portfolio.

Central to these models is the highly adaptable NU.IQ platform, which ranges from 3,990mm to 4,320mm in length. It accommodates spacious cabins within both sub-4-metre and larger SUVs and supports front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The platform can be configured for left-hand and right-hand drive, allowing Mahindra to address diverse global markets effectively.

This flexibility enables Mahindra to cater to a broad spectrum of SUV customers, balancing comfort, performance, and utility across different markets and preferences.

By launching the Vision.S, Vision.X, Vision.T, and Vision.SXT, Mahindra targets strengthening its position within the Indian SUV segment while accelerating its global expansion. These concept SUVs showcase Mahindra’s commitment to innovation, design excellence, and versatile engineering — setting the stage for the brand’s continued growth and leadership in 2025 and beyond.
