With August 15 coming up, Mahindra is sharing more about what to expect from its anticipated Vision series. It has released a new teaser of the Vision T concept, which is expected to be a production-ready evolution of the Thar.e that debuted in 2023. While the concept's boxy and rugged styling is most likely to be left untouched, the Mahindra SUV could undergo some changes as part of its development. The most recent teaser shows the rear of the concept, featuring vertical taillamps and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. It also shows bumper reflectors and door-mounted mirrors. The Vision T Concept SUV is likely to carry forward the aggressive and bold front fascia of the Thar Electric concept. The possible design elements include a blocked rectangular grille and squared-off LED headlamps.
The Vision T, along with other upcoming Vision Series concepts, will be underpinned by Mahindra's new Freedom NU platform. This platform is designed to support different powertrains, including hybrid, ICE, and electric.

Mahindra has not revealed anything about the powertrain, but rumours are strong that the Vision T could feature a dual-motor setup and an all-wheel drive setup. If this comes true, the model will boast impressive off-road capabilities, highlighting its strong ties with the Thar family.
Besides the Vision T, Mahindra's upcoming lineup includes the S, X, and SXT concepts. The Vision S concept could either be a near-production version of the Global Pik-Up concept or a new-gen Bolero SUV. It has an upright front and a bold side profile. Key design elements include a vertically slotted grille and a clamshell bonnet. Meanwhile, the Vision X is likely to be an electric or hybrid offshoot of the Mahindra XUV 3XO. It could also be an entirely new member of the brand's growing XUV range.
