Maruti Suzuki Celerio Tour H2 launched

The Celerio Tour H2 has been introduced for cab aggregators fitted with speed limiters.

Maruti Suzuki has launched an economy version of the Celerio available in two colour options – white and silver. The Celerio Tour H2 has been priced at Rs 4.21 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Celerio Tour H2 is focused on catering to cab aggregators. However, it does not feature as a new model on the Maruti Suzuki website, it is only mentioned in the price list of the standard Celerio.

The model is based on the LXi (O) variant of the Celerio. Powering the Tour H2 will be the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine mated to five-speed manual gearbox. The engine produces 67bhp and 90Nm of torque when running on petrol, while it can generate 58.3bhp and 78Nm of torque when in CNG mode. The Tour H2 comes with driver and front passenger airbags and ABS like the standard model variant. Additionally, to comply with new government regulations, the Celerio Tour H2 comes equipped with a speed limiting device.

Back in December 2017, Maruti Suzuki also launched the CelerioX as a more durable and rugged version of the hatchback for a starting price of Rs. 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The same petrol engine is offered with the CelerioX, but it doesn’t come with the CNG option like the standard car.
