The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is priced between Rs 7.59 lakh and Rs 13.11 lakh (both, ex-showroom). It offers two engine options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated and a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo.

Maruti Suzuki recently announced that it has produced over 5 lakh units of the Fronx since its launch in April 2023. The SUV's production began in March 2023, and over 1 lakh units were produced within nine months (by December 2023). The figure doubled to 2 lakh units by June 2024, and reached 4 lakh units by February this year. The total production crossed 5 lakh units in July 2025, showing strong demand for Maruti Suzuki's compact SUV. The Fronx is also a popular SUV in international markets. It crossed 1 lakh export units in the last month. This feat was accomplished within 25 months since exports began in June 2023.

Maruti Suzuki offers two engine options with the Fronx SUV. The first is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that produces 89bhp of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a five-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The second option is a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo engine option that offers a maximum peak power output of 99bhp and a maximum torque of 147.6Nm. For transmission, the unit can be paired with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
There’s also a CNG variant, which uses the same NA engine but produces 76bhp and 98.5Nm solely mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

The Fronx SUV comes equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. It also features automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a head-up display, a 6-speaker Arkamys-tuned sound system, and paddle shifters (in automatic variants).

For safety, the SUV has six airbags as standard, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, a rear defogger, and hill hold assist.
