The Maruti Suzuki Fronx has finally landed on South African shores with a price tag of R 279,000 (Approximately Rs 12.23 lakh, ex-showroom). While the model's exterior is exactly the same as the India-spec version, the engine has undergone the most significant alteration. The vehicle offered in South Africa is powered by a bigger 1.5-litre gasoline engine and comes with a choice of a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a 5-speed manual gearbox. This configuration promises to produce a maximum power of 103bhp and a peak torque of 138Nm.
