Maruti Suzuki Launches Its Much Awaited Ciaz

Maruti Suzuki has launched their much anticipated Ciaz with a starting price tag of Rs 6.99 lakh. The new sedan will be available in four trims with both diesel and petrol engines, and the petrol variant will also come with an automatic transmission.

The Maruti Ciaz borrows its powertrains from the Ertiga, which are the 1.4 litre 91bhp petrol engine and the Fiat sourced 1.3 litre 89bhp diesel engine, but they have been tuned to be a little more responsive. The engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, but the pettrol engine is also available with a 4-speed automatic transmission. 

The new Ciaz is also a very good looking sedan and it uses top quality components and so it stands out over other Maruti models. The cabin is also very spacious and comfortable. There are also plenty  of features in the Ciaz, and the top-of-the-line variant gets airbags, a touchscreen infotainment system, rear-view camera, leather upholstery, keyless entry and rear sunshades. 

The top-of-the-line diesel variant of the Ciaz is priced at Rs 9.8 lakhs, while the top-of-the-line petrol variant with the automatic transmission is priced at Rs 9.3 lakhs.
