Maruti Suzuki NEXA dealerships complete four years

Maruti Suzuki has every reason to celebrate as NEXA has completed four successful years on the dealership circuit (first NEXA dealership set up in 2015) whilst generating some outstanding growth figures for the homegrown carmaker.

To mark the occasion, NEXA Music will launch its 3rd song in the coming week.

Maruti Suzuki emerged on the Indian automotive landscape as a carmaker for the masses. The fact that the brand, to this day, enjoys the biggest market share in the Indian car sales pie, bears testimony to this fact. However, the brand has stuck to its original agenda - to provide affordable, reliable cars to the masses - while keeping up with the modern trends. The biggest example of this is Maruti Suzuki's premium retail chain NEXA, which, in a relatively short span of time, has grown significantly. At present, the NEXA network is 363-outlets strong with presence in 206 Indian towns & cities. And now, Maruti Suzuki has every reason to celebrate as NEXA has completed four successful years on the dealership circuit (first NEXA dealership set up in 2015) whilst generating some outstanding growth figures for the homegrown carmaker.

Expressing his gratitude to the customers for their continued support, Mr Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales) at Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, 'We are jubilant about the fourth anniversary of NEXA, and to announce the upcoming release of NEXA Music’s 3rd song. Both these milestones accentuate NEXA’s focus on creation and reinvention. This has been proven by our commitment towards providing the newest technologies to our customers. We thank all our customers for their support towards NEXA and not only inspiring its creation, but also encouraging its growth and diversification into other fields.

The NEXA dealerships have helped Maruti Suzuki become more accessible to a younger audience, as the company claims that nearly 50 per cent of NEXA customers are below 35 years of age. Further, the brand also takes pride in the fact that nearly 70 per cent of its NEXA customer base comprises of first-time car buyers. Thus, to celebrate the occasion, NEXA Music (a recently launched initiative) will release its 3rd song in the coming week.

At present, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Ciaz, Ignis & Baleno are retailed through the NEXA dealerships. To increase its reach further, NEXA recently announced the debut of its mobile terminals, two of which have been deployed in Haryana, Punjab & Odisha. So far, the terminals have managed to cover 10 cities in about 45 days.
