The current new-gen Swift is available in five different variants – LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+ – with manual and automatic transmission options. Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG: Powertrain

The Swift CNG will have the same Z-series 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine as the petrol-powered model, which produces a maximum power output of 80bhp and a peak torque of 112Nm. The regular Swift gets both a 5-speed manual and automatic transmission options, but the CNG variant is likely to only feature the former. With manual and automatic gears, the petrol-powered model's fuel efficiency stands at 25.75km/l and 24.80km/l, respectively. Although there has been no announcement, the upcoming Swift CNG is expected to have a mileage of more than 32km/kg.

Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG: Features

Similar to its petrol counterpart, the Swift CNG will come with an array of features such as a 9.0-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, auto climate control, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, Arkamys sound system, rear AC vents, cruise control, an analogue instrument cluster, ISOFIX anchors, Type-C charging port, rear parking sensors, and ABS with EBD.
