Maruti Suzuki WagonR Avance Limited Edition

Maruti adds more equipment and refreshed interiors to the WagonR with the Avance limited edition variant in LXi trim

Maruti Suzuki seems to be on a spree in sprucing up entry level L variants of its cars. First it was the Swift with its SP Edition and now it is the turn of the WagonR in the form of a limited edition badged as the ‘Ávance’. The new Maruti Suzuki WagonR Advance limited edition is available in the entry-level LXi and LXi CNG variants of the popular WagonR.

Priced at Rs. 4,29,944 for the LXi and Rs. 4,83,973 for the LXi CNG (ex-showroom Delhi), these Avance editions of the Maruti Suzuki WagonR will be on sale for a period of three months till November 2015.

Maruti has made the entry-level WagonR more appealing in Avance spec as the car gets a dual tone dashboard with beige inserts, a double-DIN stereo with Bluetooth compatibility, remote central locking, new seat fabrics, exterior body graphics and a rear spoiler.

Vinay Pant, Head of Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India commented on the launch of the new limited edition Maruti Suzuki WagonR Advance by saying, “In celebration of the festive season we are happy to introduce WagonR Avance with a host of smart new features. WagonR Avance is a blend of style and smartness. The new features make it even smarter. We are confident this will help us strengthen the brand.”

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR has been on sale for quite a while now in India since 1999. In that time Maruti has sold over 16.6 lakh units. In that time it has been subjected to four face-lifts and one engine change. It is still within the five highest selling cars in India for the past five consecutive years. The WagonR owes its success to its affordable pricing and value for money proposition, reliability, practicality - with its spacious cabin and of course, the company’s extensive sales and service network.
