Mercedes-AMG has taken the wraps off its GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ Motorsport Collectors Edition, a new interpretation of the AMG GT 63 Pro coupe, and a car with a livery similar to the one used by AMG’s Petronas-sponsored F1 cars in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. For those unaware, the Motorsport Collectors Edition is the second AMG GT to get an F1-inspired paint job, after the AMG GT Black Series P One special edition.
Based on the 63 Pro 4 Matic+ track-focused vehicle, the new AMG GT Black Series P One special edition features an Obsidian Black metallic shade with hand-painted Mercedes stars across its tail. There are also some contrasting bright stripes around the sills, front bumper air intakes, and 21-inch wheels in Petronas' corporate aqua blue colour. The usage of these bright stripes is also evident on the brake callipers. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz offers a choice to swap chrome elements, including the radiator grille and Mercedes star badges, for black through its AMG Night Package. The Motorsport Collectors Edition rolls on 21-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tyres.
