Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class sedan arrives in India

Mercedes-Benz India today launched three variants of its highly anticipated CLA-Class sedan in India starting from Rs. 31.5 lakhs.

In a yet another significant move from Mercedes-Benz India, the German luxury carmaker today launched one of the most successful cars from its global portfolio in India. The stylish and sporty sedan from Germany promises the customers to “make them stand out from the rest.”  Today on, the car will be available at all the Mercedes dealerships across the country.

The unparallel aerodynamic performance, thanks to the lowest drag coefficient in any production car in the world, helps it cut through the air in the smoothest way possible.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Mr. Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “With many segment benchmarks, we are convinced that the CLA will firmly make its mark in India. The car has suspension that is specifically designed for India making it more comfortable on the India roads. Other impressive highlights include daytime running LED lamps, panoramic sunroof, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, Garmin Map Pilot navigation system and a reversing camera to name a few. Safety features include things like ABS, BAS, ESP, ASR, Hill Start Assist and airbags.

Mercedes launched three variants of its CLA-Class in India today – the CLA 200 CDI Style, CLA 200 CDI Sport and the CLA 200 Sport.
