Mercedes GLA to embark on world tour, starting from India

A Made-in-India Mercedes-Benz GLA will travel across six continents as part of German luxury car maker’s ‘Great OverLand Adventure’ world tour. We at autoX magazine are proud to be one of the media partners, along with NDTV and Evo.

The journey will be flagged off from Mercedes’ expanded facility in Pune and will transerve through various geographics, spanning 17 countries and six continents in the process. There will be interaction with celebrities, motorsport legends and adventurers enthusiasts.

The GLA comes in both petrol and diesel options, which produce 181bhp and 134bhp respectively and an equal 300Nm of torque. The entry-level model is priced at Rs 31.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) while the sport variant is a tad expensive Rs 34.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
