The MG Cyberster is all set to launch in India tomorrow, entering the market as the most performance-focused EV ever produced by the brand. Brought in as a fully imported model and retailed via JSW MG’s premium Select network, this electric roadster features a dual-motor AWD setup generating 510bhp and 725Nm from a 77kWh battery pack. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Sporting dramatic elements like scissor-style doors, a retractable soft-top roof, 20-inch alloy wheels, and high-performance Brembo brakes, the Cyberster blends aggressive styling with serious speed. Inside, it offers a tech-rich experience with triple displays, Bose sound system, wireless charging, and Level 2 ADAS, signalling MG’s entry into the premium electric sportscar space.
The Cyberster brings with it the brand’s most performance-oriented powertrain to date. This version features two electric motors, one on each axle, for an all-wheel-drive setup, and draws power from a 77kWh battery.

Together, the system produces 510bhp and 725Nm of torque, enabling the Cyberster to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Certified under the CLTC test cycle, it also claims a driving range of up to 580km on a full charge.
In terms of design, the Cyberster blends retro roadster charm with futuristic aerodynamics. The coupe-like silhouette ends in a steeply cut-off tail, a nod to the “Kammback” design principle. Highlights include a low-slung front fascia, sharply designed LED headlamps with DRLs, a contoured bonnet, massive 20-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, and a wide split air dam. The rear gets arrow-style taillamps and flowing lines, while crisp creases and sculpted sides contribute to its muscular look.

Inside, the Cyberster boasts a high-tech, premium cabin centred around a triple-screen driver interface, a 10.25-inch digital cluster paired with two 7-inch auxiliary screens. A separate 7-inch vertical touchscreen controls infotainment and offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, paddle shifters, ventilated power seats, a soft-folding roof, flat-bottom steering, and an eight-speaker Bose sound system.
