MG Majestor Variant-wise Features Explained

MG has unveiled the India-spec Majestor ahead of its launch in April. While it shares its engine with the Gloster, the SUV distinguishes itself with a unique exterior and a redesigned cabin packed with premium features. It will be offered in two main trims: Sharp and Savvy. MG has opened bookings for its new flagship SUV with a token amount of Rs 41,000. Test drives are said to start after the price announcement, while deliveries are scheduled for May.

The MG Majestor Savvy offers the choice between a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) or four-wheel-drive (4WD) with a low-range option. It can be had either with a 6-seat layout (for the RWD variant) or a 7-seat setup. The newly unveiled MG SUV has the same 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine (212bhp/478Nm) as the Gloster, and comes mated to a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission.

Moreover, the SUV offers an option for four-wheel drive, while the rear-wheel drive remains the standard setup.
