The new Mini Cooper S Convertible, which went on sale on December 12, has sold out in India. Pre-orders for the second batch are now open, with deliveries slated to commence early next year. The new open-top Mini, available only in the Cooper S trim with the Favoured Pack, carries a price tag of Rs 58.50 lakh, marking a notable premium of Rs 6.5 lakh over the standard Cooper S. Mini Cooper S Convertible: Features

The Convertible’s electrically operated fabric roof takes only 18 seconds to open and 15 to close, even when driving at speeds of up to 30km/h. It is 3,879mm long, 1,744mm wide (excluding mirrors), and 1,431mm tall. The Convertible has a 2,495mm wheelbase. Mini offers its newly launched open-top in four eye-catching colours: Sunny Side Yellow, British Racing Green, Chilli Red, and Ocean Wave Green. Owners can further personalise their ride with options like custom soft-top themes and mirror cap finishes. The car rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Mini Cooper S Convertible: Interior

The Mini Cooper S Convertible features a dual-tone dashboard in beige and grey, paired with a choice of two interior upholstery options: Vescin Beige or Vescin Nightshade Blue. It comes equipped with the ‘Favoured Pack’, and includes a host of premium amenities, including a head-up display, a Harman Kardon audio, parking assist, TPMS, cruise control, a central OLED touchscreen infotainment system, and powered seats. The cabin also features a sporty three-spoke steering wheel with a unique fabric accent.

The Cooper S Convertible uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that generates 201bhp of peak power and 300Nm of maximum torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
