Mini India is set to launch a limited-edition sporty model that marks the brand’s remarkable 1965 Monte Carlo Rally win. Bookings for the car are now open, while prices are set to be revealed soon. The Victory Edition, based on the Cooper S John Cooper Works Pack, distinguishes itself with an array of distinctive tribute elements, which honour the rally car famously driven to victory by Timo Mäkinen and Paul Easter. It will arrive in India as a limited-edition model, though the exact number of units is yet to be announced. While the India-spec version is offered solely on the combustion-powered Cooper S with the JCW (John Cooper Works) Pack. Globally, the 1965 Victory Edition is available for the traditional Mini JCW and its electric counterpart.
