Mini India is set to launch a limited-edition sporty model that marks the brand’s remarkable 1965 Monte Carlo Rally win. Bookings for the car are now open, while prices are set to be revealed soon. The Victory Edition, based on the Cooper S John Cooper Works Pack, distinguishes itself with an array of distinctive tribute elements, which honour the rally car famously driven to victory by Timo Mäkinen and Paul Easter. It will arrive in India as a limited-edition model, though the exact number of units is yet to be announced. While the India-spec version is offered solely on the combustion-powered Cooper S with the JCW (John Cooper Works) Pack. Globally, the 1965 Victory Edition is available for the traditional Mini JCW and its electric counterpart.

The exterior sports a unique Chili Red finish, contrasted by a bold white racing stripe that stretches from the bonnet, across the roof, to the rear. On the sides, there are distinctive '52' number graphics, which pay tribute to the original racing number of the 1965 winner.

Other highlights include a split roof-mounted spoiler, centrally positioned exhaust, and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The Gloss-black exterior accents and the iconic hexagonal grille complete the special edition's aggressive JCW-inspired look.

Similar to the exterior, the Victory Edition celebrates Mini's 1965 Monte Carlo Rally triumph with branded door sills, a sports steering wheel with commemorative emblem, matching storage lid, and a key fob marked ‘52’.
The Victory Edition packs the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine as the Cooper S, which produces 201bhp and 300Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 0 to 100km/h sprint time stands at 6.6 seconds.
