Honda Cars India has confirmed significant price drops across its lineup, including the Elevate, the Amaze (both second- and third-generation models), and the City, following the 2025 GST reforms. The third-gen Amaze receives the highest benefit of up to Rs 95,500, while the pre-facelift version sees a reduction of up to Rs 72,800. The updated ex-showroom prices are yet to be revealed, but Honda is encouraging customers to book their cars now to avail both the GST-related benefits and the ongoing festive season offers. The new prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025.

Commenting on the announcement, Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd., said 'We welcome the Government’s new GST Reforms 2025, which come at a very timely juncture for the Auto industry. These progressive measures will not only make vehicles more accessible to customers but also provide a strong impetus to festive season demand.'

He also added, 'As the festive demand peaks, we encourage our customers to book now to ensure timely delivery during the auspicious period and avail benefits both on account of GST reduction and current festive offers.'
Honda sold a total of 6,774 units in August 2025, registering a sharp 39.21% decline from 11,143 units sold in the same month last year. Of the total, the carmaker supplied 3,850 units in the domestic market, showing a decline of 27.71% from 5,326 units sold in August 2024.

Meanwhile, the exports stood at 2,924 units, compared to last year's 5,817 units. This reflected a decline of 49.73%.
