New Honda Logo For Future EVs 1

Honda will launch the Saloon-based electric sedan in the North American market in 2026. The Saloon is one of the company's new '0 Series' concepts, featuring a low-slung stance and sporty styling. The next-generation EVs, including the 'Honda 0 Series' electric vehicles, will wear a new 'H' logo, as revealed by the Japanese auto giant at the ongoing CES 2024. The new logo is a simpler motif, representing "two outstretched hands". Honda says that this design expression represents its commitment to augment the possibilities of mobility and sincerely serve the needs of the users of Honda EVs.

With the 'H' now wider and angular, it is a slimmer, minimalist version of the current logo, minus the trapezoid border. It closely resembles the company's first logo introduced in 1963. Compared to the new logo, the original 'H' logo had a similarly thin-looking design and was used for a brief period until it was redesigned in 1969.

For those not aware, the original logo was used on the first car the company sold in America, the 1969 N600. Meanwhile, the existing Honda logo has been in use on all of its cars since 1981. Honda will likely debut this new logo on the production-spec Honda '0 Series' Saloon.

At the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, Honda presented two electric concepts previewing its new '0 Series' that will be rolled out in global markets starting in 2026. The first of them is a stylish flagship sedan dubbed the Saloon, while the other one is an all-electric people-mover called the Space-Hub. Both adopt the common design language of the Honda '0 Series', and are based on a dedicated EV platform. While the future Saloon will arrive first in North America in 2026, followed by Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America, the Space-Hub has not been confirmed for production by Honda.

Moreover, the company has yet to also confirm whether the new 'H' logo will be put together with the spelled-out 'Honda' at the back of the its upcoming Prologue electric SUV, as in the case of the Saloon and the Space-Hub concepts. As of now, the 2024 Prologue EV still features the old logo.
