Renault is set to introduce the new Duster in India tomorrow, i.e., March 17, 2026. While the engine, features, and design details have already been revealed, Renault will now reveal prices for the mid-size SUV, making it easier for interested customers and those who have pre-booked the model to finalise their purchasing decision and plan deliveries. Here’s a closer look at the expected prices for the Duster based on industry estimates, as well as all the key details.

Renault will offer the new Duster in multiple variants with different powertrain options. The base variant with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol manual transmission could ask somewhere between Rs 9.50 lakh and Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The mid-spec version, with the same powertrain, could range from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 13.29 lakh. Higher trims equipped with the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine, available with manual and DCT options, are expected to command a hefty premium over these entry-level models. Meanwhile, the range-topping 1.8-litre strong-hybrid automatic variant could push the price up to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Do note that these are expected ex-showroom prices.
Pre-bookings for the SUV are underway for a token amount of Rs 21,000. Buyers who book the SUV early are eligible for a range of benefits, including priority delivery, introductory pricing advantages, complimentary branded merchandise, and even an opportunity to tour the brand’s manufacturing facility.
The Renault Duster arrives with a strong-hybrid setup for the first time. This setup combines a 1.8-litre petrol engine, a 48bhp electric motor, and a 19.7bhp hybrid starter-generator to produce a total output of 158bhp and 172Nm. However, Renault will not offer this electrified variant at launch, and it is expected to go on sale around Diwali this year.

The SUV will also be offered with a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 161bhp and 280Nm, and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a DCT. A smaller 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit with 99bhp and 160Nm with a 6-speed manual is also available.

Renault has equipped the new Duster with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, and a panoramic sunroof. The SUV has a 360-degree camera, six airbags, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors, disc brakes on all wheels, and Level-2 ADAS for safety.
