Renault has launched the Duster in India at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 10.49 lakh. The mid-size SUV sits on the Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP) and measures 4,343mm in length, 1,813mm in width, and 1,659mm in height. Compared to the Euro-spec version (Dacia figures excluding mirrors), the India-spec model is 3mm longer, 47mm taller, and 2mm wider. It offers a ground clearance of 212mm, compared to the European model’s 209mm to 217mm range. The Duster has a 518-litre boot capacity. Bookings for the mid-size SUV have been underway since March 2026, while deliveries are slated to begin in April. Read on to know more about the Duster in detail.
Currently, the all-new Duster is available with a choice of two turbocharged petrol engines: a 99bhp, 1.0-litre unit and a 161bhp, 1.3-litre mill. A 6-speed manual is standard, while the 1.3-litre option also gets a 6-speed DCT.
Renault will also offer a strong-hybrid option for the Duster in India for the first time. This setup combines a 1.8-litre petrol engine, a 48bhp electric motor, and a 19.7bhp hybrid starter-generator to deliver an output of 158bhp and 172Nm. However, this hybrid version will not be part of the lineup at launch and is said to arrive by Diwali 2026.
The India-spec Duster features a few unique characteristics compared to its global counterpart. For instance, the grille drops Dacia’s ‘Link’ emblem in favour of Duster lettering, while the Y-shaped DRLs are replaced by slim eyebrow-style LEDs and sharper headlamps. The bumper at the front looks beefier, and it has a larger silver skid plate and pixel-effect fog lamps. At the rear, the SUV features a connected LED tail lamp strip, along with gloss and matte black tailgate elements and a shark-fin antenna.

The mid-size SUV also features 18-inch dual-tone alloys and functional roof rails. Renault has announced a special India-only launch edition in Mountain Jade Green, accented with yellow inserts and Himalayan-inspired graphics.

The cabin of the Renault Duster is adorned with a black and green dual-tone finish. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, and centre armrests for both front and rear passengers. Other notable highlights include leatherette upholstery, with contrast stitching, powered and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and 48-colour ambient lighting.

The mid-size SUV is available starting at Rs 10.49 lakh for the base Turbo TCe 100 MT variant, while the top-spec Turbo TCe 160 DCT trim can be had for Rs 18.49 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom.
