New Suzuki Swift images leaked!

Images of the upcoming third generation Suzuki Swift have been leaked online revealing what you can expect from the new model

Images of the upcoming new 2017 Suzuki Swift have surfaced online. Apparently the images were being used for official purposes by the company at a select showcase when they were leaked. While that is that when it comes to the legitimacy of the images, just a look is enough to tell you that the car here indeed bears resemblance to the trademark design of the Swift with a tall windscreen with black A-pillars, a roof that slopes downwards towards the rear giving the rear doors smaller windows. While the basic silhouette remains similar, the new car appears to have lost its sharper lines for more rounded design elements.

The front of the car sees raised aprons on either side with a somewhat flat centre for the bonnet. The front grille and air dam are incorporated into one hexagonal unit that houses the license plate in the centre. The fog lamps are incorporated in large angular housings on either side of the bumper. The head lamps have become smaller but retain their tall swept back design, now featuring LED daytime running light strips.

The side profile of the car largely remains the same apart from a black section on the C-pillar connecting the rear quarter window and rear windshield. In fact, the rear door handles are now integrated behind the rear quarter window.

The rear of the car again is similar with a small rear window and tall tail lamps, the new bumper though looks much sportier with a black lower section housing two tail pipes on either side to give the car a wider look.

Inside the third generation Swift is an all new dashboard that gets large twin pods in the instrument binnacle, a three spoke steering wheel with switchgear, round central air vents, a large touch screen infotainment system and round HVAC control knobs possibly with inbuilt digital displays.
