The Sierra nameplate makes a comeback to Tata Motors’ lineup in an all-new avatar. After showcasing the Sierra ICE concept at the Auto Expo earlier this year, Tata has now unveiled the production-ready model ahead of its launch on November 25. While it continues to sport its signature upright stance, the new Sierra is no longer a nostalgic throwback, with new elements like connected LED lighting.
Inside, it comes loaded with features, including three expansive 12.3-inch displays on the dashboard, a wireless charging pad, and a rotary gear selector. Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Price-wise, we anticipate the new Sierra to be priced from around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Tata Sierra, with its boxy and muscular stance, manages to look both modern and tough at the same time. It features a glossy black panel at the front that blends smoothly with the connected LED DRLs, projector headlamps, and the Tata badge. The pixel-inspired fog lamps, rugged bumper, and silver-effect skid plate further enhance its bold first impression.

From the side, the flush door handles and the blacked-out section between the pillars create a sleek, contemporary profile reminiscent of the classic Sierra. Other notable elements include the heavy body cladding, 19-inch alloy wheels, black ORVMs, and sturdy roof rails. The rear looks just as striking as the front, thanks to a full-width LED light bar and a neatly sculpted bumper with black accents and a silver skid plate.
The new Sierra boasts a premium and tech-rich cabin headlined by a ‘TheaterPro’ triple-screen setup, which includes a fully digital driver display and two infotainment screens. It also features ventilated powered front seats, a wireless charger, adjustable headrests, and a large panoramic sunroof that extends all the way to the C-pillar.
The Tata Sierra is expected to come with a range of engine options, including the brand’s new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor. First revealed at Auto Expo 2023. This unit is set to deliver around 167.6bhp and 280Nm, and buyers will get the choice of both manual and automatic transmissions. A 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is also said to be offered.
