Nissan India has opened bookings for its new Kicks mid-size SUV at Rs. 25,000. Prices will be revealed at the time of its market launch in January 2019.

Nissan India has officially opened bookings for its new mid-size SUV, the Kicks. Bookings are open at Rs. 25,000 across all Nissan showrooms countrywide and customers can also go to the company website to do the same.

“The new Nissan Kicks is a testimony to our commitment to bring the best of global products and technology to our customers in India. We are confident that with its progressive SUV design and advanced technology, the Kicks will appeal to new-age urban adventure seekers,” said, Hardeep Singh Brar, Director, Sales and Commercial, Nissan Motors India.

The Nissan Kicks for India is different from the international spec Nissan Kicks, as the India spec model is based on the same platform as the Renault Duster, Renault Captur and the now discontinued Nissan Terrano. The Kicks in fact takes over from the Terrano in Nissan India’s model line-up. And to make for a more attractive proposition, Nissan has loaded the Kicks with a range of features such as full LED headlamps, four airbags as standard, 360 degree parking camera system, hill start assist and more. And to keep things interesting on the outside, the Kicks features some sharp design curves to ensure it doesn’t just blend in with the crowd.

The Kicks is being offered with a choice of a set of 1.5 litre petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol model is offered with a five-speed manual transmission while the diesel model gets a six-speed unit. The powertrain setups are in fact identical to the Terrano and Duster.

We have in fact recently driven the new Kicks and you can read the full review here - Nissan Kicks Review: First Drive

Prices for the Nissan Kicks will be revealed at the time of its market launch in January 2019.
