Nissan raises awareness about driving safe through the Nissan Safety Driving Forum

Nissan has taken a step forward to raise awareness of road safety and highlight the benefits of safety technologies in cars by setting up the Nissan Safety Driving Forum in India. First launched in Delhi, the event, which was conducted in the parking area of a prominent mall in Mumbai, was a two day activity. Participants were able to learn about safety through panel displays and simulator devices. Of course the basics were taken care of too as the importance of seat belts and airbags was also stressed upon.

The fact that people were made to understand how the airbag functions and even how precautions should be taken while driving, shows Nissan’s commitment to the cause. The Japanese company also ensured that they tell the participants about the safety features in their cars and what better way to do it than allow them to take a test drive of the car. Participants got to learn about ABS(Anti-Lock Brake System) and the other onboard safety technologies. Nissan will now take the NSDF to Chennai soon because for them, safety comes first.
