The new Manthey Kit for the Porsche 911 GT3 improves downforce, handling and stability with aero and suspension updates, helping the car run faster laps.

Porsche has rolled out a new Manthey Kit for the 992.2-generation 911 GT3, created with Manthey Racing to improve its performance on a track. The development teams at Porsche’s Weissach Centre and Manthey Racing worked together to raise downforce and cornering ability without adding extra drag. The kit updates the aerodynamics, suspension and braking hardware to help the car stay stable during long track sessions.
Porsche says the goal is to help the 911 GT3 carry more speed through corners, remain steady under different loads and deliver consistent lap times. All updates are made without changing the engine, showing the focus is on engineering, setup and efficiency rather than increasing power output.

The aerodynamic updates include a front lip extended by 12 millimetres, along with front diffuser fins and side flaps that increase pressure at the front axle. At the rear, the 911 GT3 now uses a swan-neck wing with a Gurney flap and larger end plates that guide airflow. A revised rear diffuser with longer fins improves stability, while carbon-fibre discs on the rear wheels help reduce drag during fast circuit runs.

The suspension receives a major update with a four-way manually adjustable coilover system developed by Manthey. Drivers can fine-tune rebound and compression damping based on track conditions. Porsche has also increased the front axle spring rates by 10 per cent compared to the previous Manthey kit. This change boosts mechanical grip and helps the car stay predictable during corner entry, load shifts and when driving over kerbs.

Inside, the 911 GT3 with the Manthey Kit keeps the layout of the standard model. Porsche focuses on driver control and clear feedback, making sure the updates suit both track use and daily driving. The cabin remains familiar but includes small track-focused elements that support the car’s purpose on a circuit.

The 4.0-litre flat-six engine stays unchanged. Instead, the Manthey Kit aims to improve handling and aerodynamic efficiency so the car can use its power better under track conditions. Porsche says the latest setup makes the 911 GT3 almost three seconds quicker around the Nurburgring compared to the earlier generation fitted with the older Manthey kit.
