Globally, the Porsche Cayenne Electric is now also available in a new 'S' variant. This model sits between the standard and the range-topping Electric Turbo in the lineup. While the Cayenne S Electric has the same 113kWh battery as its siblings, there are some differences in motor hardware, tuning, and suspension setup. Power comes from two permanent-magnet synchronous motors mounted on the front and rear axles, which produce 536bhp, and up to 657bhp when Launch Control is activated. The rear-axle motor features direct oil cooling to dissipate heat from current-carrying components. A silicon-carbide pulse inverter capable of handling up to 620 amps.

The Porsche Cayenne S Electric can be charged from 10 to 80% in under 16 minutes using a 400 kW fast charger. It has a 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h. The all-new Cayenne S Electric offers a WLTP range of up to 653 kilometres on a single charge.

The mid-spec 'S' variant stands out with Volcano Grey Metallic front and rear aprons, body-coloured diffuser inserts, and 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels. Porsche also offers several premium options, including Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, the advanced Active Ride suspension, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes.
