Oilstainlab HF-11 Supercar

The automotive world is abuzz with the recent unveiling of the Oilstainlab HF-11 supercar. This exclusive vehicle showcases a swappable powertrain, allowing drivers to choose between a traditional flat-six engine and an electric variant. With a remarkable acceleration time of 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds, it promises to deliver an exhilarating ride that embodies both performance and innovation. Capped at just 25 units globally, the Oilstainlab HF-11 supercar is expected to launch in 2026, with prices beginning at USD 1.8 million (about Rs 15.13 crore) for the flat-six variant and USD 2.3 million (roughly Rs 19.33 crore) for the electric model. The HF-11 is poised to make a significant impact in the automotive market, appealing to supercar enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Oilstainlab HF-11 Supercar: Powertrain and Design

The HF-11, designed by Oilstainlab founders Nikita and Iliya Bridan, represents an exceptional achievement in lightweight engineering. The car has a length of 4,318mm, a width of 2,032mm, and a height of only 1,118mm, featuring a wheelbase of 2,713mm. With a weight of under 907 kg, it is expected to transform performance standards in its class. Central to the HF-11 is a naturally aspirated (NA) 4.5-litre flat-six engine, delivering an impressive 650bhp and can rev up to an astonishing 12,000rpm. While it may resemble a Porsche engine, this powerplant is completely original.

The supercar will offer more than just an internal combustion option; an all-electric variant is currently under development, packing an impressive 860bhp. The EV is anticipated to weigh 953 kg, about 45 kg heavier than the gas model – an impressive feat considering it includes an 80kWh battery pack. Buyers may opt for either a traditional six-speed manual or a seven-speed sequential transmission, catering to driving enthusiasts' preferences.

The company intends to provide both street-legal and track-specific versions of the HF-11. The track variant will ride on 18-inch wheels on both ends, paired with Michelin Pilot Sport Legends slick tyres, ideal for navigating race circuits. In contrast, the street version will come with staggered wheels – 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear – fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres, ensuring peak performance on city roads.

To achieve its lightweight design, Oilstainlab employs a carbon fibre monocoque paired with a full carbon body and forged centre-lock wheels. Furthermore, the butterfly doors contribute a striking aesthetic, solidifying the model's supercar status.

Beyond its impressive performance and design, the HF-11 incorporates an advanced suspension system. The pushrod suspension, paired with adjustable Ohlins dampers, offers exceptional handling precision, while the 45:55 weight distribution contributes to balanced performance. Braking is handled by six-piston calipers with 394mm discs in the front and four-piston calipers with 390mm discs in the rear. Additionally, the vehicle features a limited-slip differential to improve traction and control.
