Pravaig e-SUV unveil tomorrow: What to expect?

A brand-new electric SUV, called the Pravaig Defy, from Pravaig Dynamics, an EV startup based in Bengaluru, is all set to be unveiled tomorrow. So, let's have a quick look at what you can expect from this new offering by the homegrown carmaker.
The new Pravaig Defy is going to be an SUV with a sporty appearance, premium equipment, and a roomy cabin. The manufacturer has recently disclosed details regarding the exterior hues of the EV, which will be available in a total of 11 colours – Emperor Purple, Shani Black, Haldi Yellow, Moon Gray, 5.56 Green, Hindigo, Bordeaux, Lithium, Kaziranga Green, Vermillion Red, and Siachin Blue.
The Pravaig Defy EV has a powerful design comprising strong lines, a large roof-mounted spoiler, sharp LED taillights, black plastic cladding, a rear profile inspired by Land Rover, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The SUV also features a connected LED tail-lamp design, a flat roofline, and strong upright shoulders.
According to the manufacturer, the Defy electric car has a ground clearance of 234mm, which is more than enough for rough Indian roads. The e-SUV includes captain chairs that are electrically and thermally adjustable. With 1215mm of legroom and 1050mm of headroom, the back seats are comfortable. The new model has a huge touchscreen infotainment system with many connectivity choices, linked car technology, a Devialet sound system, an air purifier, USB Type-C charging ports, wireless phone charging, and a rear touchscreen.
The precise battery capacity of the EV has not yet been confirmed by the company. However, the maximum power and peak torque are expected to be 402bhp and 602Nm, respectively. The Ev has a claimed top speed of 210km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Moreover, the new model is said to have a range of more than 500 kilometres. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 30 minutes, thanks to its rapid charging capabilities.
