Refreshed 2021 Kia Carnival

As the name suggests, Limousine Plus is the new range-topping variant of the Carnival.

There were rumours going around that Kia India is planning to rejig the variant line-up of the Carnival, and today, the Korean marque has officially revealed the prices of the refreshed MY21 model. Interestingly, the 2021 Carnival's entry-spec Premium 7-seat variant still costs ₹24.95 lakh.

In fact, the only major changes across the variants come in the form of a price hike for the mid-spec Prestige 7-seater variant, which now costs ₹29.49 lakh (instead of the earlier ₹28.95 lakh), and the introduction of the Limousine Plus trim (priced at ₹33.99 lakh), which is essentially the outgoing Limousine trim with some more feature additions. Thanks to this, the updated Limousine trim now sits just above Prestige and is priced at ₹31.99 lakh, which means that it is more affordable by ₹1.96 lakh. All price figures are ex-showroom.

However, do not think that the Limousine trim is any less well kitted, for it offers convenience features like VIP premium leatherette seats with leg support in the 2nd row, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Over-The-Air map updates, UVO support, and a single 10.1-inch rear-seat entertainment unit.

As for Limousine Plus, over and above the Limousine trim, it also offers a Harman Kardon Premium 8 Speaker Sound System, 10-way power adjust for the ventilated driver's seat, TPMS, an electronic parking brake, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter, and a dual 10.1-inch rear-seat entertainment unit.

On the visual front, the refreshed Carnival dons Kia's new logo, and all of its trims now have 18-inch crystal cut alloy wheels as standard. Mechanically, the car remains unchanged.

Listed below are the variant-wise prices of the 2021 Kia Carnival (all figures, ex-showroom):

Premium (7-seats)₹24.95 lakh
Premium (8-seats)₹25.15 lakh
Prestige (7-seats)₹29.49 lakh
