Renault has finally revealed the Boreal, its much-anticipated C-segment SUV, built on its ultra-flexible modular platform (first debuted with the Renault Kardian). The car's design is aligned with the preferences of markets such as Latin America, Turkey, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean basin. The design language speaks to both power and sophistication, with a sleek, aerodynamic profile shaped by flowing contours and confident, angular detailing. Up front, the Boreal commands attention body-coloured grille that features the new 'Nouvel’R' logo at its centre.

The SUV also sports an advanced lighting system with elongated LED headlights that sweep into the wings, supported by extra light modules. The SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels. It also boasts a high-contrast black roof, chrome-accented roof rails, panoramic sunroof, and protective aluminium skid plates.

Sharing his thoughts about the design, Gilles Vidal, VP Design, Renault Brand & Ampere, said, 'Renault Boreal embodies the brand's new styling approach: sculpted, expressive bodywork, with taut lines, contained volumes and technical features providing structure. Sophisticated in every detail, it is part of the same approach as our latest European vehicles. Its balanced proportions give it real onroad presence. Inside the car, the spacious, contemporary cabin features an original dashboard, with carefully selected materials and contoured seats designed for comfort and support.'
The Boreal's cabin sports a modern and intuitive design philosophy, inspired by the Renault 5 E-Tech and Renault 4 E-Tech electric models. At the heart of the dashboard lies the OpenR dual-screen setup, combining a crisp 10-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver with a matching 10-inch multimedia touchscreen at the center. This streamlined configuration emphasises connectivity and ease of use, ensuring that vital information and entertainment features are always within effortless reach. Controls are thoughtfully arranged, featuring a sleek e-shifter, a multifunction steering wheel wrapped in refined materials, and tactile backlit metal buttons.

Other features include dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats that come with memory settings, 48-colour ambient lighting, two USB-C ports and a wireless phone charger, and multiple seat upholstery options with contrast stitching (depending on region).
