Renault Filante has made its global debut as the flagship model under the brand’s International Game Plan for 2027. Backed by an investment of Euro 3 billion, the strategy includes the launch of eight new vehicles outside Europe, five of which will be positioned in the high-value C and D segments. The Filante SUV joins other key upcoming models such as the Kardian, Duster, Boreal, and Koleos, all part of Renault’s wider Renaulution strategy. It is scheduled to go on sale in South Korea in March 2026, before expanding to markets in South America and the Gulf region by early 2027. Here's all you need to know about Renault's new model.

The Filante looks distinctly sporty and premium, featuring coupe-like proportions with SUV presence. The flowing roofline tapers into a sculpted rear, complemented by an integrated spoiler and a sharply raked rear windscreen. There is an illuminated Renault logo on the grille, while the LED DRLs have a slim design. The wheel arches look muscular and house 20-inch alloy wheels. Other key details include angular taillamps and flush door handles.

Inside, the Filante adopts a dual-tone theme. It has a suede-lined roof, three 12.3-inch displays, wireless charging, a fixed glass roof, a premium Arkamys or Bose audio system, and a three-zone climate control.

The car can accommodate 5 people, and has a boot capacity of 633 litres. It is also equipped with an augmented-reality head-up display.
The Filante SUV employs a hybrid powertrain comprising a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, two electric motors, and a 1.64kWh lithium-ion battery. The setup generates a total of 247bhp of maximum power and up to 565Nm of torque while using Renault’s three-speed Multimode Auto transmission. It is built on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform.
