Renault hikes prices across portfolio

Renault India has silently hiked the prices of models across its portfolio. Renault retails four models in India – Kwid, Kiger, Triber, and the Duster – and the variants have seen a price hike ranging between Rs 7,000 up to Rs 39,000.

The Kwid is the entry-level model in the Renault family and the prices now start at Rs 3.32 lakh – Rs 14,000 more than before. The top-of-the-line model receives a Rs 9,000 hike and the Climber (O) AMT model is priced at Rs 5.48 lakh. The Neotech edition of the Kwid gets a price hike of Rs 7,000 and the model is priced at the Rs 4.98 lakh mark.

The Renault Kiger is the newest model in the French carmaker’s lineup and the Sub-compact-SUV now starts at Rs 5.64 lakh. The entry-level model has seen a hike of Rs 19,000 while the mid-spec variants have received a price hike of Rs 9,000. The RXT CVT and RXZ trims get a significant price hike of Rs 39,000 and the former is priced at Rs 8.99 lakh and the latter will set you back by Rs 10.08 lakh.

The Renault Triber was updated for the model year 2021 in March and the MPV had an entry-level price of Rs 5.30 lakh. The base model has seen a price hike of Rs 20,000 and the Triber now retails between Rs 5.50 lakh to Rs 7.95 lakh. There is a Rs 13,000 hike across the remaining variants of the 2021 Renault Triber.

Finally, Renault’s current flagship model the Duster. The SUV has seen a price hike of Rs 13,000 across all the variants. The prices now range between Rs Rs 9.86 lakh and Rs 14.25 lakh.
