Renault has launched the Kiger Facelift in India as a part of its 'Rethink' transformation strategy. The SUV starts at Rs 6.29 lakh for the Authentic trim with a 1-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol MT, while the Emotion variant with the 1-litre Turbo Petrol MT has an introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The compact SUV remains mechanically unchanged, but comes with some noticeable upgrades both inside and out. Here's a comprehensive look at what the new Kiger brings to the table.

The Renault SUV gets a mild refresh while retaining its familiar proportions. The front now looks sharper with a sleeker grille in glossy black with the brand’s new logo. The headlamp enclosure is revised, and fog lamps are added to the lower edges of the bumper. A minor update at the rear, a new Oasis Yellow dual-tone colour option, and newly designed 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels round off the exterior changes.

The dashboard now sports a new black and light grey colour scheme, but the interior layout remains the same. Other highlights include ventilated front seats, a sunroof, an 8-inch infotainment screen with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rain-sensing wipers, a multi-view camera system, and ambient lighting.

The Renault SUV boasts 21 active and passive safety features. It now comes standard with six airbags, ESP, hill start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Mechanically, the updated Kiger sticks to its existing engine lineup, including a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 71bhp and 96Nm, and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 98bhp and up to 160Nm. The NA petrol unit gets 5-speed MT and AMT options. Meanwhile, the turbo petrol mill offers a choice between a 5-speed MT or a CVT.
