Renault launches Lodgy Premium Stepway Edition – India’s first cross MPV

Today, Renault India launched India’s first crossover MPV known as Lodgy Premium Stepway Edition promising a never-seen-before blend of performance, styling and best-in-class features.

After launching its MPV – the Lodgy – a few months ago, Renault today launched the crossover version of its MPV known as Lodgy Premium Stepway Edition. The car will be available in two trims – the 8 seater Lodgy RxZ delivering 108.5bhp of power, and the 7 seater Lodgy RxZ also delivering 108.5bhp of maximum power. Both the cars have an introductory price of Rs. 11.99 lakhs and 12.29 lakhs respectively (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The car has been given new treatment in terms of front grille, roof rail, alloy wheels, front bumper, front and rear skid plates, chrome finished scuff plate, front and rear wheel arch cladding, black side moulding with chrome inserts, fog lamp garnish with chrome satin finish and a signature Stepway decal. Safety and comfort have been taken care of with features like ABS, EBD, brake assist, driver and passenger airbags, rear wiper and defogger, rear parking sensor, rear view camera, central locking, power steering, power windows, rear AC for 2nd & 3rd row occupants, electrically adjustable mirrors, MediaNav entertainment and navigation system with speakers, audio and phone controls, cruise control and speed limiter. The engine used in both the variants is the same 1.5-litre dCi engine that powers the Lodgy delivering 108.5bhp of maximum power and peak torque of 245Nm@1,750rpm.
