First picture of Renault Lodgy emerges

After seeing spy pictures of it for the last few weeks, we finally know how Renault Lodgy will look.

Renault India has revealed the first image of its Lodgy, which is going to be launched in India next year, a few minutes ago. We just received an e-mail from Renault with the first picture of its Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) and by the first looks, it looks very purposeful. Renault claims that the car has been made around what people need and has “features and services that are people centric.”

With Renault Escape, that was launched in Europe almost three decades ago, Renault can be considered to have started the MPV segment. Renault Lodgy is aimed at “redefining the segment as a complete Multi Purpose Vehicle and deliver the best in segment performance.”

This can be considered as another move from the French car manufacturer to strengthen its presence in India by catering to more and more segments in an otherwise very competitive market.
