Skoda Auto India will reveal the prices for the Kushaq Facelift on March 21, 2026, after unveiling it earlier this year. Since its launch in 2021, the Kushaq has played a vital role in Skoda’s India lineup, and the most recent update is aimed to enhance its competitiveness in the mid-size SUV segment. The mid-size will be available in Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, and Prestige variants, as well as a sporty, and top-spec Monte Carlo version. It will feature a massaging function for the rear seats, marking a first in the segment. Here’s everything you need to know about the updated model.

Skoda has given the Kushaq a sharper look with a host of noticeable changes throughout. The butterfly grille is now wider and integrates a sleek connected light strip. The look is complemented by updated LED headlamps with connected DRLs, redesigned bumpers, new alloy wheels, a connected LED taillamp setup, and illuminated branding at the rear.

The Monte Carlo edition, positioned at the top, adds to the sporty appeal with black exterior accents, red highlights on the grille, gloss black roof rails, and a contrasting roof spoiler.

The interior layout is largely the same, but Skoda has added a new colour scheme. Key amenities include powered and ventilated front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, powered and ventilated front seats, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a 6-speaker sound system, leatherette seats, and dual-tone ambient lighting.
As for safety, the updated Skoda SUV gets 6 airbags (standard), electronic stability control, an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror (IRVM), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rain-sensing wipers, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The Kushaq SUV has preserved its turbocharged petrol engines – 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre. The only major change is the introduction of a new 8-speed automatic gearbox for the 1.0-litre engine, replacing the previous 6-speed unit. The smaller engine produces 113.4bhp and 178Nm, while the 1.5-litre engine produces 148bhp and 250Nm, and is offered with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT.
Pre-bookings for the new Kushaq are currently open across the brand’s official website and authorised showrooms.
